UPCOMING EVENTS

Events of interest to our members form an important part of the Anglo-Swedish Society's agenda. Some 12 - 15 are organized every year and highlighted in our newsletters, produced three times yearly. Although there is often an obvious Swedish connection, we take the view that members meeting up and getting to know each other is the key factor in these popular get-togethers. The events are often combined with a lunch, dinner or evening drinks.

Anglo-Norse Societies - Supper and Concert

Location: Drapers� Hall, Throgmorton Street, London EC2N 2DG

The Drapers� Hall, owned by the Worshipful Company of Drapers, provides a magnificent setting for this event. The building is lavishly decorated with some outstanding works of art and it is frequently used in films. The Drapers� Company is ranked 3rd of the City Livery Companies and many royals; notably King Haakon VII was a member. The link with the Norwegian royals continues with his grandson Harald V, also being a member.
