International Festival of Glass

Kira Phoenix K’inan, our 2015-16 Exchange Scolar, was invited by Blowfish Gallery to exhibit a selection of clear glass superposition artworks as part of Parallel Exhibit group exhibition for the International Festival of Glass, 23-26 August 2024. She was also invited to take part in panel discussion - Empowering Women in Business - that was hosted by Bethany Wood, Founder of Blowfish Glass UK. The other panelists included Katherine Huskie (Co-Founder of D&H), Tabitha Sara Burrill and Amelia Burke (Director of E&M Glass). The discussion featured “a diverse group of women glass artists and business owners. A conversation about what it's like to be a woman in business and how they've navigated the industry to lead their businesses.
