Centenary Ball

The Society's Centenary was celebrated at the Cavalry and Guards Club (see YouTube & Facebook). The Ambassador of Sweden and Mrs Sohlström, the Very Rev Katarina Bäckelin, Rector of the Swedish Church, and Mr Anders Rydell, the Chairman of the Swedish BV Society attended the Centenary. Also present were council members Erik Berggren (Hon Treasurer), Andreas Nielsen, Prof David Goldsmith, Maggie Dan-Lersten, Cecilia Gejke, Robert Freeman. Further there were The Rev Tereisia Derlén (Swedish Church), Jan Olsson (Swedish Chamber of Commerce) and other distinguished guests. Alexander Malmaeus (Chairman) and Jacqueline Appel acted as hosts and the Society's Scholar, Miss Ami-Louise Johnsson performed.
