Diana Margaret Maddock, Baroness Maddock and Lady Beith

President from 1999 - 2020.

Elected as Member of Parliament for Christchurch at a by-election in 1993 and held the seat until 1997. She was made a Life Peer in 1997. From 1998 - 2000 she was President of the Liberal Democrats. She married to Lord Beith (then Sir Alan Beith, MP for Berwick-upon-Tweed) in 2001.
