Slipping the Veil

Members of the society attended the private view of a contemporary art exhibition titled Slipping the Veil, at London's oldest church, Saint Bartholomew the Great. The Anglo-Swedish Society sponsored the celebrated Swedish sculptor and installation artist Diana Orving to travel to the UK to exhibit her incredible piece Shapeshifter which looked very dramatic and impressive hanging in the church. The event was expertly curated by James Freeman and Elena Unger. Elena was also exhibiting some highly accomplished and detailed paintings. The exhibition is on until 14 June and features twelve artists, including immersive sound and words by Nick Cave.
