Guy Marshall-Brown

Guy is a ceramicist and graduate of the Royal College of Art, and is spent spring 2020 at Konstfack in Stockholm.

Guy's production methods involve using digital technologies to 3D scan forms, which he then digitally manipulates. He then usea combinations of 3D printing and traditional plaster mould making methods to produce large scale ceramic press moulds.

The exchange with Konstfack provided Guy with the opportunity to continue exploring this recently developed methodology and to provide him with a new breadth of architectural inspiration. The Stockholm's Nordic Classicist architecture provided him with an incredible amount of first-hand resource material to adapt into his own ceramic forms.
