Joel Andersson loves playing a broad repertoire from early Baroque to contemporary music. He is deeply fascinated by music’s capability to build bridges between people and cultures.
Joel currently plays with a young virtuoso string ensemble, operating since autumn 2014 by the Foundation O / MODERN in cooperation with the County Music in Stockholm. The Orchestra collaborates with renowned artists such as Anne Sofie von Otter, Nils Landgren and Evelyne Glennie et al. The basic concept is the same as the festival O / MODERNTs, Mixing old and new and to explore the relationship between bygone composers and our modern culture and give historical works on new shapes.[/text_output][/vc_column][/vc_row]
