Midsummer Lunch

All four Nordic Societies in England - the Anglo-Swedish Society, the Anglo-Danish Society, the Anglo-Finnish Society and the Anglo-Norse Society joined together for a Midsummer Lunch at Lincoln's Inn. The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn is the oldest of the four Inns of Court dating back to 1422. Members of all four societies enjoyed a welcome drink and a chance to mingle at the East Terrace overlooking the Benchers Lawn in the beautiful sunshine. This was followed by a 3-course lunch in The Great Hall which has a Minstrels’ Gallery, striking fresco and a ceiling of beautifully worked oak. It is described as one of the most impressive surviving buildings of its kind in London. We are most grateful to the Anglo-Finnish Society for organising this special event.
