Prize Winning Illustrator Linda Bondetsam

Many congratulations to the renowned illustrator Linda Bondestam for winning the August Prize for her children's book Chop Chop. The August Prize has been awarded since 1989 and is the most prestigious literary prize in Sweden. In October 2020 Linda gave a fascinating talk to the society about her book Animals. Bondestam, who is one of the most prominent picture book illustrators in the Nordics, was nominated for the August Prize for the fourth time, but for the first time with a book that she herself both wrote and illustrated.
