Sir Lawrence Robson

Sir Lawrence William Robson, FCA

(born 1904, died 1982)
Chairman from around 1968 - 1982.
Financial advisor and accountant. From 1949 to 1969, he served on the council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Chairman of the National Liberal Club at the time of his death. In 1981, he was created a Knight Commander of the Order of the Polar Star and the following year he was knighted.
