2023 Punsch Ball

Our annual Punsch Ball took place on the 4 November at the Savile Club in the heart of Mayfair.

The guests were entertained at a drink's reception by the harpist Heather Brooks from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. During the three course dinner the clarinettist Raymond Brien and the pianist Robert Hao gave an impressive performance of Mendelssohn - Songs Without Words. Raymond is on trial as principal clarinet at the BBC Symphony Orchestra. The guests which included representatives from both the Oxford and Cambridge Scandinavian Societies were in fine voice as they sang Helan Går and Punschen Kommer!

After dinner DJ Thomas had everyone up on the dance floor.
